New Year Tips for Packing a Full Week of Healthy Lunches + Snacks

Continuing with this week's New Year's theme, I wanted to revisit my most popular post ever, focusing on lots of tips + tricks for packing an entire week of healthy lunches and snacks.  Apparently many people can relate to my weakness for eating super unhealthy, high-calorie lunches.  I have come up with the easiest, quickest plan for putting together your entire week of lunches (+ snacks) in under an hour with practically zero prep-work!  That means no messy kitchen and tons of dirty dishes to start your week!

One of my secrets is using disposable containers that I order online.  This minimizes the kitchen mess and you don't have to worry about doing dishes before you can prep your next meal (no excuses!).  You also don't have to worry about leaving dishes at work or in your car.  I also admit that I am kind of weird about my tupperwares and I like everything to look clean + organized in my fridge.  There are TONS of options for disposable containers available at Web Restaurant Store, but the ones that I chose were the 4-compartment containers for lunches (don't forget tops are separate, get them here); and the 3 compartment containers for snacks.

To get started, take a look at my healthy lunch + snack shopping list that I have included below.  Of course these are all just suggestions of my favorites, and you can customize these to any specific diet needs.  I've also included some sample lunch + snack ideas below the shopping list.  Once you start putting together your meals you will realize how many different combinations are possible, so you will never get bored with the same lunch every day!  Most all the ingredients are ready to go, straight from the grocery- so besides cutting some things up and dividing amongst the containers, there's little to no prep work involved!  You will be surprised how easy it is to stick with!  Once you have your lunches + snacks prepped for the week, they are ready to grab and go whenever you are feeling hungry!  You can find my original post here for more details + tips on this plan- good luck!
